A set of Gran Dessert bowls by Italian manufacturer Vemi, crafted from 18/10 stainless steel with gilded elements. Six tall-stemmed bowls are arranged on a round tray, creating a striking composition for serving desserts, berries, and appetisers.
The interplay of the steel's cool gleam and warm golden accents beautifully captures the aesthetic of Italian table settings from the 1970s–80s. Originally, the set was intended for ice cream and desserts, as indicated by the preserved original box bearing the name Gran Dessert. Today, its use can be significantly broader: for berries, fruits, nuts, olives, sorbets, mousses, or small appetisers for company.
The complete preservation of the set and the presence of its original packaging, which rarely survives several decades, add particular value to this collection.
