The Journey Back — Hronika’s annual limited-edition photo album series. Each release is a new chapter with its own symbol and palette. The edition is never reissued.
The series is dedicated to returning — a journey back: to important stories, to experiences worth preserving, to places where a path back is essential.
The album is conceived as both a memory object and an interior piece: it lives in a space for many years, gradually collecting its own history.
It can be filled throughout the year, culminating in your own chronicle, a chapter written by you.
Chapter XXVI — the first release in the series:
For the first chapter, we turned to the image of the horse — the symbol of the upcoming year 2026.
The silhouette is created using Japanese ink techniques, inspired by the work of an unknown 19th-century Japanese master.
For the cover and endpapers, we chose a combination of warm dark ochre and vibrant turquoise — a calm yet expressive contrast.
Edition Details:
