A luxurious tureen in the shape of a cabbage head — an iconic object from the “Cabbage” collection by the legendary Portuguese manufactory Bordallo Pinheiro. The pink color is an exclusive rarity.
This shade was produced only between 1995-2000 for a special collection commemorating the manufactory's 105th anniversary.
About Bordallo Pinheiro:
Founded in 1890 by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, the manufactory has become a symbol of Portuguese ceramic art. Its distinctive feature is hyperrealistic forms inspired by nature: vegetables, animals, plants. Each piece is crafted by hand, preserving the traditions of 19th-century masters.
The “Cabbage” Collection:
The series was launched in the 1960s as an homage to Portugal's agrarian roots. The cabbage head shape symbolizes abundance and a connection to the earth.
