This lemon-yellow crystal bowl, with its asymmetrical form, was created at the Sèvres manufactory. Judging by its style and distinctive shape, it likely dates to the mid-20th century. During this period, many glassblowing workshops, including Sèvres, produced items in the spirit of Modernism and Postmodernism, characterized by flowing lines and abstract forms.
Use it to store jewelry, keys, or simply as a decorative element.

About the Sèvres brand:
Sèvres is a small town in France, located near Paris, known primarily for its famous porcelain manufactory, which is one of the most prestigious and historically significant in the world.
The history of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory began in 1740, when it was founded in the town of Vincennes. In 1756, the manufactory was moved to Sèvres, due to its closer proximity to Versailles, the residence of the French royal court. Soon, the manufactory came under the patronage of Madame de Pompadour, the official mistress of King Louis XV, which helped it achieve great renown.

Although the Sèvres manufactory is traditionally known for its porcelain production, it also began producing glass and crystal items in the 19th century. During this time, the manufactory expanded its artistic and technical skills to meet the demand for a wider range of high-quality decorative items.
From the mid-19th century, the manufactory began experimenting with various materials, including glass and crystal, driven by a desire to diversify its products and continue the traditions of French decorative art. Sèvres crystal items often complemented or accompanied porcelain collections, offering clients the opportunity to acquire sets that included pieces made from both materials.
